Oce TDS800 Printer Drivers
To send us files which our plotter can print successfully, they first have to be saved in a language it understands. PDF works well in many instances, but failing that there is another course of action.
This involves you obtaining Printer Drivers or Printer Descriptions, then using Add Printer to create a virtual printer which you select when printing from your CAD program, "Printing to File", and sending to us for plotting.
This will lock in all the information — layout, fonts etc, meaning we don't actually "open" the file here, we just run it through a processing utility to produce high quality digital black & white plans.
To obtain the latest printer driver for your CAD program to match our Oce TDS800 printer/plotter, go to the Oce website http://global.oce.com/support/default.aspx
From the 'Please select...' pull down menu choose 'Oce TDS800 Pro Series'. Click 'Search'.
Then choose your Operating System, and for 'Version' select 'Latest only'.
Click the 'Search' button.
Under 'Search results', click on the Name of the driver to download.
[Note: users of Vectorworks and DataCAD should use a WPD driver]
Click on the Documentation tab and Search for, and download, the matching PDF Manual for your driver.
Follow the instructions on how to install."
